Runic Crow is a rap artist from Silver Spring, Maryland whose music and brand are rooted in strength and authenticity. Inspired most deeply by DMX, he also draws influence from artists such as Kid Cudi, Eminem, Project Pat, and Big Krit.
A lifelong athlete, Runic Crow wrestled, ran track, and played football, later earning a full ride scholarship to Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. He ultimately graduated from the one and only Howard University in 2017 and went on to earn a master's in Cybersecurity from University of Maryland Global Campus.
Runic Crow truly believes in honoring those who came before him and paying homage to the entertainment industry that has helped him through his mental health battles. The name Redd Ox was coined during one of his wrestling matches, when a spectator shouted "Wow, this kids as strong as an ox."
